A note or canvas did not save

Do not close the editor while it says Unsaved changes or Not saved.

Steps

  1. Keep a copy of important draft text before refreshing or leaving.
  2. For notes, add a title and complete any required person/organization selection, then choose Save.
  3. For Canvas, wait for Saved. Use Retry save after a failure; Reload saved canvas discards unsaved layout changes.
  4. If saving still fails, keep your draft and contact support with the error.

Done when: The record shows a saved state or your work is safely copied.
