Who can see my material?

Check the kind of record and sharing action before assuming someone can access it.

What to know

  1. Notes and Read Later are personal. A private note link does not grant access.
  2. Workspace membership grants role-based access to supported shared information; it does not make private notes shared.
  3. Public article links expose the chosen reader content to people with the link.
  4. Public watchlist links expose configuration and let signed-in recipients make independent copies.

Done when: You know whether you are sharing content, access or a configuration copy.
