A shared link or import failed

Watchlist links can expire or be revoked. Importing also needs a signed-in account with available capacity.

Steps

  1. Ask the sender to check the link’s expiry or revoked state.
  2. For a watchlist import, sign in and check your watchlist allowance.
  3. Read any import warning about unavailable sources before confirming.
  4. For an inaccessible private note, ask for a supported sharing format; a copied private link does not grant access.

Done when: You have a usable link or understand the restriction.
